and personal knowledge says that increasingly organisations are working
in this way having spent considerable sums of money only to find their
change agenda belongs to a big consulting business and not the
organisation. There are value for money issues but also
considerations about the pace of change achievable. Organisations
are looking for something that supports their programme but which does
not involve being overwhelmed by a large team of external
people.

Training in managing change and service transformation
Managing
change is different to managing services. It requires a different
mindset and a different set of skills. We can help equip your change
team and the people they work with so that they are more confident and
capable of delivering results faster. Some of the topics are
included in the Insight Session document - events range from a short
overview to in-depth tailored workshops.
Facilitation and fine tuning
It
is vital to get a project team set off in the right direction and
embarked on a realistic plan to deliver clear benefits. A
facilitated workshop at key points in the project can be invaluable –
for instance at start up, on solution design, during delivery and when
handing responsibility for benefits back to the business. These
are powerful whether you need a big idea or just fine tuning.
Trusted advisor
With
so many different work streams and competing resources, it is not easy
to spend time understanding what worked elsewhere. No
organisation is the same as yours, but there are many lessons to be
learned from the successes and failures of others. A trusted
advisor can work part time with a Sponsor and/or Programme Manager to
offer an objective view and build momentum.
Coaching and mentoring
Some
people have enjoyed a career in service management and others in change
management. For most it is not easy to change from one to the
other. Hence we see the benefit of coaching or mentoring to help
individuals (or teams) gain a new perspective on their challenges,
think through all the options, break down barriers and successfully
deliver what they plan.
We can also offer
skilled resources on a temporary basis where you have a need to kick
start a project, strengthen the Programme Office, define the programme
benefits, focus on a particular issue or institute a systematic
approach to continuous improvement.
